Exciting news for Que and Cruz 2016. As in the past years we always find a good charity to donate the proceeds from
this event to include Trevilians VFC, Zion Crossroads VFC and this year we are pleased to announce we have partnered with
UVA Children's Hospital (The Battle Building) as our contcribution point for proceeds from this years Que and Cruz Fall
Festival. This is in honor of our granddaughter Lindsey Ann Hall who was born March 30, 2016 at MJH but was soon transported
to the UVAs Children's ward, due to only having 1 kidney, where she received some of the finest care we could ever imagine.
She is developing as any other happy preemie at 5 months old. She is happy, learning how to roll and smiles a hundred yard
smile. She weighs a 11lbs and is eating a diet thats best fit for her kidney to handle. She will be undergoing treatment
there in the future for Kidney dialysis and later a Kidney Transplant. As you know Kidney research is so important, and the
work the Children's hospital does is amazing and is nationally known. Please spread the word of this great news. Come out
and support this worthy cause on October 1. There will be music, vendors, car show and of course the Virginia State Championship
BBQ contest. This year, the Trevilians Volunteer Fire Department will be holding the car show during Que and Cruz to raise
money for their department. Gates open to the public at 10am. A $15 donation will be collected at the gate for adults,
kids under 10 are free. We hope this will be a stellar year for this event. Tell all your friends.
